The operating thesis

I started acquiring distressed property in 2019 while serving on active duty. Through four duty stations and a full interest-rate cycle, I learned to turn complicated work into clear decisions, documented processes, and accountable execution.

A commander first—who also flew the Apache.
Eight years of Army service included command of 150 soldiers, responsibility for a 24-aircraft fleet, and more than 500 flight hours in the AH-64E Apache. Aviation demanded technical mastery; command demanded judgment, trust, standards, and care for people.

Clarity is a leader’s job.
Complexity does not excuse ambiguity. People perform when the mission, decision rights, standards, and feedback loops are clear—and when the leader remains responsible for the result.

My wife and I hold and operate 12 furnished and residential units on our own balance sheet. The portfolio spans Tacoma, Puyallup, DuPont, and Fairbanks, with short-, mid-, and long-term operating experience.
